I’m a busy photographer, writer and horticulturist (amongst other things) and have been into plants since a toddler. Whilst it was definitely uncool during my younger years I stuck with it. I’ve been an active gardener for over 30 years now (I did start young remember) and am enjoying the resurgence that gardening is making around the globe. After all it’s simply introducing people to something I’ve know a long time – plants are fascinating!
I live in an inner city suburb of Sydney, Australia. Its a great area with plenty of buzz and I still get to have a garden (albeit a challenging one on a rooftop terrace). Having lived in London and Vancouver I’m pleased to be back in Sydney for now, although I wouldn’t turn down a year in Italy…
In some of my blogs you might notice me mention someone called Mike and wonder just who he is. Well Mike is a very clever man that I have known for many years. He also happens to be my partner – lucky me! Thankfully he humours me when I rivet him with details of the latest ‘must have’ plant or tell a VERY long story about why this particular flower is a favourite of mine. And trust me I have a lot of favourites!
Enjoy the site.
